About Block Printing

Block printed fabric is considered to be one of the most artistic, organic and beautiful fabrics in the world. 

Unlike today's more common digital printed fabrics, block printing involves skilled artists carving intricate patterns onto wooden blocks, which are dipped in ink or dye and stamped onto the fabrics. The process takes time and skill and the resulting fabrics ooze artistic character, perfectly imperfect, with no two block impressions being the same.
