What we stand for

We prioritise ethical production and sustainability wherever possible.

One of the reasons we are passionate about hand block printed fabrics (aside from their unique beauty), is that we are honouring a tradition and keeping an art form alive, whilst supporting employment in an industry that is being threatened by digital manufacturing.

Our hand block printed fabrics are sourced from India and are created by local artisans and crafts people, with a commitment to giving job opportunities to women, especially those from disadvantaged communities. Natural dyes are used whenever possible.

Our cushion covers are lovingly and meticulously sewn in our home in Devonport, New Zealand. Labour is not outsourced to mass production or factories.
